As of June 11, 2024, project was awared to Summers Concrete Contracting, Inc., with an awarded amount of $4,183,120.90. The project generally consists of erosion control, pavement removal, Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) paving, grading and drainage improvements, marking and apron edge lighting, as well as one light pole installation located at Southwest Georgia Regional Airport, Albany, GA in accordance with bid documents, specifications, and all other contract documents. The Project Manager will provide an overview of the work to be performed and answer questions. All interested bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. This project will be bid on a unit price basis for all specified work and will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder submitting the lowest unit price bid. A 5% Bid Bond is required of all bidders. Bid bond must be present for bid to be read or considered. 100% Performance and Payment bonds will be required of the successful bidder.
