The City of Bridgeport, Department of Public Facilities seeks pricing for the purchase and removal of mixed scrap metal primarily comprised of light metals, white goods (metallic), heavy metals, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, in no set proportions deposited in a seventy (70) yard container stationed at the Bridgeport Transfer facility located at 475 Asylum Street AND a twenty (20) yard container at 495 North Washington Avenue. Bids may not include any charges to the City of Bridgeport. Containers shall be supplied and replaced as needed by the successful bidder. Quality of Metal Removed Bids are invited for the removal, weighing, and purchase of "scrap metal". The City makes no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied, as to quality, character, condition, size or kind of metal offered for purchase. The Purchaser is therefore, urged to inspect the scrap metal at the removal site, as failure to do so shall not be an excuse for the raising of claims. All items offered are on an "as is". All Foreign Materials associated with the metals shall also be removed from the site. Question Deadline 04/30/2024 at 4:00 PM ET
