Site work and paving for a road / highway in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Village of Lake Hallie will be accepting bids for road work on 40th Avenue from the intersection of 160th St West for 5650 feet in length and 24' wide. This project is LRIP funded. Bid this road with the following specs: - Pulverize and rough graded to a width of 28". - Add 4" of 1 1/4" base coarse for 5,000 LF at a 28" wide AND 10" of 1 1/4" base coarse to be added for 650 LF at a 28' width and rough graded. - Pulverize and rough graded. - Finish grade the road and pave to a width of 24" in two lifts. Binder lift to be paved and compacted to 1 3/4" with a 3 LT 58-28 S asphalt mix. The surface lift is to be paved and compacted to 1 1/2" with a 4 LT 58-28 S asphalt mix. - Install 2' shoulders with 3/4" base coarse, sweep and compact. - Please include applicable driveway approaches, saw-cutting driveways, price per ton, number of tons estimated to complete the project along with total cost of the project. Please add any recommendations you feel the road would need. Length of road are approximations The Village reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the contract in our best interests.
