Demolition, site work, paving and addition to a mixed-use development in Sarasota, Florida. Design plans call for the addition of a 16,670-square-foot theater / auditorium; for site work for a 59-space sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Construct an addition to expand the Payne Park Auditorium building from 8,100 square feet to 24,770 square feet, which will be leased to The Stage at Payne Park LLC. Additional improvements such as 59 parking spaces (approximately 26 parking spaces currently exist on site), sidewalks, and a refuse enclosure. An application seeking a Pre-Application Conference for this project went before the Development Review Committee on April 17, 2024. As of July 5, 2024, the city has not received any additional applications. An architect has been selected; however, a general contractor or selection method is not disclosed.
