Demolition and site work for a residential development in Cincinnati, Ohio. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
The contractor will be required to provide performance surety in the amount of 100% of the contract dollar amount. Questions or requests for additional information regarding this solicitation shall be directed in writing to the assigned City of Cincinnati Buyer, Shannon Brower at Shannon.brower@cincinnatioh.gov. The contractor shall start work within fifteen (15) calendar days from receipt of written notice to begin work, by registered or certified mail, from the City Agency for whom the work is to be performed. No work of any kind shall be done by contractor until so notified. The contractor shall secure delivery of all equipment and materials required and shall complete onsite work within 30 calendar days from receipt of notice to begin work. The amount of liquidated damages to be paid by the contractor for each and every working day that he is in default is $200.00. The City reserves the right to waive informalities not inconsistent with law or to reject any or all bids. Furnish all necessary labor, tools, equipment, appliances and facilities to move or raze the buildings or structures, as specified, together with all attachments located on the premises, including all required backfill and restoration. Prices in the contract include all risk of delay, damage and destruction from all causes whatsoever; all labor, material, and transportation; and all other work, equipment, and expenses of whatever nature necessary or incidental to the performance, completion and maintenance, in perfect condition of the work herein specified during the progress of and until completion and final acceptance of same.
