The Town of Pine Haven is requesting bids for the installation of a double chip seal on portions of two roads and a chip seal on a portion of one road in the Pine Haven Town limits. The work would include performance and payment bonds, traffic control, roadway shaping, subgrade preparation, miscellaneous concrete and compaction, and the placement of one or two layers of chip seal. Bidder agrees that the Work for the project will be substantially complete within 15 Working Days after the date when construction begins. The start date of construction shall be considered the first day that equipment or material arrives on site. Work shall be completed and ready for final payment upon receipt of Substantial Completion Liquidated damages, not as a penalty, shall be assessed on a calendar day basis at $1500.00 per day basis should the Contractor supplied project timeline be exceeded. Bid Security Bid Security shall be made payable to the Town of Pine Haven, in an amount of five percent of the Bidder's maximum Bid price and in the form of a Bid Bond.
