Design Scope: Work includes the demolition of the existing planting bed, removal of 2 existing flag poles foundations, installation of 2 new flag poles foundations, installation of Goshen stone walls Question Deadline 08/16/2024 Contact: The designer will be present at the pre bid conference. This will be the only time available for viewing the site; any further questions preceding the submission of the bid shall be directed to: 1. UMA: Sean Milligan, Project Manager, Design and Construction Managment; smilligan@umass.edu. 2. Crowley Cottrell: Mark Warfel Jr., Project Manager; mark@crowleycottrell.com No questions from Bidders will be accepted within 5 days of the Bid opening Each General Bid proposal must be secured by an accompanying deposit of 5% of the total bid. Deposits shall be in the form of a BID BOND, CERTIFIED, TREASURERS or CASHIERS CHECK payable to the University of Massachusetts. Deposits shall be returned in accordance with the law. All bids for this project are subject to the provisions of either or both Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 30, Section 39M as amended and Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 44A 44I inclusive. The Awarding Authority reserves the right to waive any informalities in or to reject any and all bids if it be in the public interest to do so.
