This Request for proposals (RFP) posted by Berkshire Community College (BCC) is to enter into a
contract with one qualified vendor for the purchase and installation of four (4) dual-port, nonnetworked Level 2 AC electric vehicle charging stations at the BCC campus in Pittsfield, MA.
BCC is seeking a turnkey solution for the equipment, software, network, accessories, warranties,
and deliveries required to install the EV charging stations.
The scope of this re-bid, removes the following requirements from the previous and cancelled
BCC RFP for EV Charging Stations;
1) Blacktop & curb installation at Stanley.
2) Make-ready costs for pre-wiring at the Annex location.
It is highly recommended that proposers review the entirety of this RFP, prior to submitting
proposals.
This RFQ does not commit BCC to approve a Statement of Work (SoW), pay any costs incurred in
the preparation of a bidder's response to this RFP, or to procure any products or services. BCC
reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals received as a result of this RFP and to
contract for some, all, or none of items proposed in bid submissions. BCC further reserves the
right to negotiate with any or all responding vendors orto cancel this RFP, in part orin its entirety,
if it is in the best interest of the College to do so.
The Stanley Power Plant (S on the map) fleet parking areas are on the west side of the Stanley
Power Plant building. The Annex building (AA on the map) fleet parking area is on the eastern
side of the Annex building. The corresponding fleet charging station locations (identified in red)
will be specifically reserved for fleet parking.
3.2 SITE PLAN
Three (3) electric vehicle charging station locations have been identified by BCC at the Stanley
Power Plant location, and one (1) electric vehicle charging station location has been identified by
BCC at the Annex Building location at the BCC campus.
