Design Participation: MBEs (6.6%) and WBEs (15%) Construction Participation: MBEs (4.2%) and WBEs (8.8%) GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK A. The Athletic Field Improvements at Carvalho Field shall include: 1. The demolition of existing site features to include, but not limited to, shrubs and vegetation, asphalt pavement, natural grass field, fencing, drainage infrastructure, and other appurtenances as detailed in the contract documents. 2. The construction of one (1) synthetic turf multipurpose field including the installation of a subsurface drainage system, stone base, and other appurtenances, as detailed in the contract documents. 3. New athletic lighting system. 4. Electrical conduit for athletic lighting, scoreboard systems, and field access. 5. New LED scoreboard system. 6. New scoreboard-mounted PA System. 7. Various site improvements to include landscaping, walkways, fencing, spectator seating concrete pads, bike rack, and other requirements, as detailed in the contract documents. 8. The restoration of any items damaged or destroyed during construction. 9. Providing and restoring, where appropriate, all temporary facilities. 10. All other work is indicated on the contract plans and/or specifications Prospective bidders are required to submit all questionsin writing to the Chief Procurement Officer by 1:00 P.M. by April 25, 2024.
