Ishpeming School District No.1 -Parking Lot Paving Project Description: Base Bid (North Lot): Remove existing bituminous parking lot and existing building foundation below. Provide new fill at foundation removal and provide a new paved and striped basketball court with (7) new parking spaces & (1) ADA parking space. Provide topsoil, seed & mulch in all greenspace areas. Remove existing tree stumps at the corner of Pearl Street & Third Street. Near the corner of Pearl & 3rd St., remove portion of existing concrete curb & sidewalk to allow for new concrete approach apron and concrete dumpster pad (with no fence/screening). Bid Alt #1 (West Lot): Remove existing asphalt above steam pipe tunnel, provide 6" of fill and compact, and adjust grades to allow for proper drainage, then provide new pavement surface with paint striping. Remove portion of asphalt cover and steel frame, provide fill & compact, the provide new asphalt. Provide HMA crack and sealcoating surface treatment with new paint striping at all remaining parking areas. Bid Alt #2 (East Lot): Provide HMA crack and sealcoating surface treatment with new paint striping. Bid Alt #3 (South Lot): Provide HMA crack and sealcoating surface treatment with new paint striping. Provide newly painted parking spaces along West side of Third Street adjacent to parking lot.
