As per the Owner the project has been cancelled. This project will be rebid on a later date that has not yet been determined. The Scope of Work is to include, but not be limited to, demolition work, excavating, masonry, plumbing, general construction and minor pavement repair. The Successful Bidder shall be licensed in the State of New Jersey, shall have and provide upon request, demonstrable experience with general construction, masonry, plumbing and waterproofing. Bidders shall include references and at least ten (10) similar projects completed in the last eight years within their bids submitted to the Commission. In addition, the firm must own and maintain a local office within 100 miles of the Commission. The project will be conducted under a single prime contract. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond for ten (10%) percent of the contract price (not to exceed $20,000) as a guarantee of execution of contract and the provision of performance security. Surety's Consent: Every bid must be accompanied by the consent in writing of a surety company (or surety companies) qualified to do business in the State of New Jersey, who shall, at the time of submission of such bid, qualify as to its (or their) responsibility in an amount equal to ONE HUNDRED PERCENT (100%) of the contract price of such bid., All bidders are considered to have full knowledge of the conditions and requirements, including the physical characteristics of the site and the project, which are necessary for an accurate bid.
