North Plainfield Board of Education 33 Mountain Avenue North Plainfield, NJ 07060 Phone: (908) 769-6060 Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the North Plainfield Board of Education, 33 Mountain Avenue, North Plainfield, NJ 07060 Single Overall Contract for "Trash & Garbage Collection Services". No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids pursuant to the applicable rules and regulations governing same, or to waive informality in the bidding if it is in the interest of the Board to do so. The Contract for the above-referenced Service will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder. Bidding shall be in conformance with the applicable requirements of N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-1 et seq. pertaining to the "Public School Contracts Law". The Bidders' Attention is Directed to the Fact That All Applicable Federal, State, and Municipal Laws, Ordinances, Rules, and Regulations, Including N.j.s.a. 10:5-31 Et Seq. And N.j.a.c. 17:27-1.1 Et Seq. Regarding Affirmative Action of All Authorities Having Jurisdiction Over Construction Work in the Locality of the Project, Shall Apply to the Contract. The Board Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids Pursuant to N.j.s.a. 18a:18a-1 Et Seq., and to Also Not Award a Contract for Any Portion of the Project if the Board Has Not Obtained the Requisite Approval for the Project or Any Portion Thereof From the Appropriate State Agency. ***Bid Event: All bids must be submitted in duplicate and duly time stamped in the Office of the Business Administrator not later than the Bid Opening Date and Time as stated in this Advertisement. Bids shall bear the name and address of the Bidder and shall be endorsed with the name of the Project.
