Hempfield Township Municipal Complex - Phase 1 and Weatherwood Community Park - Phase 1 All requests for information shall be submitted in writing to the office of the Engineer at bclement@hflenz.com by or before 5:00 p.m. local prevailing time on Thursday, May 9, 2024. Requests for information will not be accepted after 5:00 p.m. on May 9, 2024. The project consists of the infrastructure development including, but not limited to, the following: building construction, clearing and grubbing, earthwork, installation of utilities, splash pad construction, nature and fitness park, and all items as identified on the construction documents. The project will be awarded based on the following: Base Bid 1 Hempfield Municipal Complex - Phase 1 Base Bid 2 Weatherwood Community Park - Phase 1 Base Bid 3 Multipurpose Building A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of Hempfield Township, negotiable U.S. Government Bonds, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder, and an acceptable surety authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid for the Proposed Hempfield Township Municipal Complex - Phase 1 and Weatherwood Community Park - Phase 1 shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds each in the amount of 100% of the contract price, and certificate of insurance prior to the award of the contract Hempfield Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Work under this contract is subject to the requirements of the PA Prevailing Wage Act. The PA Prevailing Wage Rates applicable to this Contract are included.
