The project scope of work generally consists of: 2,100' of 48" RCP storm sewer outfall piping and manholes including 140' of 48" RCP by Jack and Bore across Highway 81; 860' of 60" to 72" RCP and 115' of 12" RCP storm sewer piping, manholes and area drains; 900' of 26' wide aggregate surface roadway; along with other miscellaneous improvements, restoration, and erosion and sediment control items. Each bid must provide a PDF document (uploaded to Online) which contains an acceptable bidder's bond in a sum equal to five percent of the full amount of the bid, executed by the bidder as principal and by a surety, conditioned that if the principal's bid be accepted and the contract awarded to the principal, the principal, within ten days after notice of award, will execute a contract in accordance with the term of the bid and a contractor's bond as required by law and the regulations and determinations of the Grand Forks City Council. Each bid shall also contain a PDF document (uploaded to Online) of the license or certificate of renewal issued by the secretary of state. The bidder must be licensed for the full amount of the bid. The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids and/or waive any informality in the bids received and accept any bid deemed most favorable to the City of Grand Forks's interests. If awarded, the work shall be completed by November 30th, 2024, with an interim completion date for portions of the work by October 1st, 2024.
