The purpose of this specification is to provide the COUNTY OF ATLANTIC - DIVISION OF FACILITIES MANAGEMENT with professional Painting and Pressure Washing Services to supplement County Staff, when necessary. This contract will cover all County of Atlantic buildings and any premises leased by the County of Atlantic. Work shall include, but is not limited to: 1. Providing complete interior and exterior painting services. A. Painting with all types of paint, including epoxy paint. B. Painting on all types of surfaces including but not limited to wood, metal, exposed concrete, sheetrock, asphalt, trim, ceilings, walls, and doors. C. Patching holes, preparing surfaces, and removing wallpaper if necessary. D. Removal of old paint if necessary. 2. Pressure washing all exterior surfaces. A. Cleaning and removal of all foreign materials to include but not limited to mold, mildew, adhesives, graffiti, dirt, leaves and tree debris, bird droppings, and other foreign matter. B. Surfaces to be pressured washed includes but not limited to, sidewalks and walkways, exterior sides of buildings, chimneys, roofs, gutters, drains, ducts, exterior windows, and fencing. If a bid security is required with the bid, the bidder must upload a copy of the certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, payable unconditionally to the County of Atlantic. The original document must be received by the County of Atlantic Purchasing Office no later than 5 business days after the close of bids. The Bidder that is awarded a contract shall, simultaneously with the delivery of the executed contract, submit an executed performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the acceptable bid as security for the faithful performance of this contract. The surety on such bond or bonds shall be a duly authorized surety company authorized to issue performance bonds in the State of New Jersey Question Deadline 04/25/2024 at 12:00 PM ET In the event that a Bidder may have any questions regarding this Bid or the Work, all such questions should be submitted in writing on the Bid Portal Question section of the specific bid Responses will be posted and forwarded to all bidders who have obtained a bid package from the Atlantic County Bid Portal. The contract term shall be for the period of June 1, 2024, or date of execution whichever comes first, through May 31, 2026 unless sooner revoked by the County of Atlantic for non-compliance with its provisions, or if the funds for the contract are exhausted prior to May 31, 2026. The County reserves the right to extend the contract for an additional one (1) year at the same rate, terms and conditions. Contractor shall notify Dwight Davis 609-929-9501 within seventy-two (72) hours, an acknowledgment of telephone order for non-emergency work to be performed.
