Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Hazlehurst, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The work to be done hereunder includes the furnishing of all necessary machinery, equipment, tools, labor and other construction means, and all materials and equipment required to perform all work as set forth and called for by the Plans and Specifications and including the placing of the entire project into satisfactory operation. The work under this Contract will consist generally of the following: The construction of +- 4.05 miles of resurfacing, including +- 3,856 tons of 9.5mm Superpave, +- 32,409 SY of variable depth milling, +-8.12 LM of high build striping, and all appurtenances necessary for a complete job. All work on the Project must be completed within 210 consecutive calendar days of date of notice to proceed. No bid will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City of Hazlehurst prior to the time set forth above, and accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, payable to the City of Hazlehurst for 10 percent of the amount of the bid; to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid be accepted and the bidder fail to enter promptly into a written contract and furnish the required Payment Bond and Performance Bond and Insurance Certificates. Bids arriving after the designated time will be returned unopened. The City of Hazlehurst, reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to overlook and/or disregard informalities or irregularities in the proposals.
