Description

Site work for a military facility in Arlington, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a military facility.

The objective of this acquisition is to obtain a contractor to install a perimeter fence surrounding a portion of the facility located at 1600 Lamar Blvd, Arlington, Texas 76011 in accordance with the U.S. Interagency Security Committee Standard. Perimeter fence Installation in accordance with the U.S. Interagency Security Committee Standard Period of Performance: 04/29/2024 to 06/14/2024 : The fence shall be constructed according to the following specifications: Approx. 918' of 8' tall, 9 gauge, top & bottom railed, chain link fencing (Approx. 560' on West side; approx. 358' on South side) Gate Specifications: Set schedule 40, steel posts, in 2' of concrete (2 7/8" corner posts; 2 3/8" in line posts) Attach 1 5/8", schedule 20, top and bottom rail, to the posts, with rail ends and brace bands. Attach 8', 9 g. twist top, chain link fabric to the top & bottom rails, and posts, with a combination of tension bars, tension bands, and ties. The fence shall be adjacent to and on either side of the facility itself. Note: fence line will be altered, (from straight), to go around existing posts, trees, & large rocks on the South side. Specific questions regarding your contract or task order should be directed to the appropriate NRC Contracting Officer.
