The work associated with this project consists of: signal construction at the intersection of S. 51st Street and S. Preserve Way and sign installation, pavement marking, and temporary traffic control from W. Forest Hill Avenue to W. Drexel Avenue in Franklin, Wisconsin. Bids shall include the furnishing and installation of all labor, materials, permits, equipment, tools, supplies, etc., for complete performance of the work as described. A certified check or bid bond, payable without condition to the City of Franklin in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a proper contract and bond as surety will be executed and filed within ten (10) days after the acceptance of the bid. If such bidder fails to execute and file such contract and bond, the amount of the check or bid bond shall be forfeited as liquidated damages. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of bids without the consent of the City of Franklin for a period of ninety (90) days after the time of opening of bids.
