Site work for a water / sewer project in Pierre, South Dakota. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Black Hills State University (BHSU) campus is located within the city of Spearfish, South Dakota. The existing main water line is original from the 1940s and needs replaced due to significant breaks that are occurring. This project is American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funded. This funding has a requirement to have all contracts, including design and construction, executed by December 31, 2024. Due to this timeline, great emphasis during scoring will be on availability to complete the design in an expedited manner. The construction budget for the project is $1,650,000, but be advised that this number is subject to change. Construction is anticipated to start in August 2024 and be completed in December 2024.
