Saving Project...

Demolition, site work, remodeling and renovation of a mixed-use development in Portsmouth, Virginia. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility.

Description of the work: This project will replace all of the compressed air, steam, and saltwater piping and risers within the north and south tunnels around Dry-dock #2. Work includes installing new piping systems, risers, and all associated fittings with corrosion protection coatings. The new lines will be installed in the same location as the existing piping systems (with most lines residing inside the utility tunnels on each side of the dock, as well as some direct buried piping around the head of the dock and other locations). Temporary feeds (hoses) will be installed to the affected facilities during construction. Additionally, all electrical cabling will properly secured, waterproof (LED) lighting in the tunnels with switches at each point of entry will be installed, and foot markers will be added in the tunnels. The utilities will include SCADA connection as required. But not limited to please review the specifications for more information. Prevailing Wages Apply. Contract duration = 210 calendar days
