Demolition, site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Round Rock, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a theater / auditorium; for site work for a theater / auditorium; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and theater / auditorium.
Demolition of the theatre building and three (3) surrounding buildings/storage sheds & deck. The City of Round Rock requires the demolition services to be provided for the former Sam Bass Theatre, two (2) surrounding buildings, and one (1) storage shed located at 600 N. Lee St., Round Rock, TX 78664. The theatre building measures approximately 30' x 70' and is a pier constructed, wood framed building with asbestos cement shingle siding. There are two additional wood framed buildings, a wood framed storage shed, and a wood framed deck on site. All four (4) structures and the wood deck shall be demolished down to dirt, and all sidewalks, concrete flatwork, concrete piers, and railroad ties shall be removed and disposed of. (The City of Round Rock conducted an onsite asbestos and lead paint test. Asbestos was found in the main theater building. The contractor shall remove and dispose of the asbestos containing material according to all local, State and Federal regulations). Please see RFQ documents for more information.
