The Project includes the following Work: Elkview Expansion of Aspen Park includes a new HMA parking lot with concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalks, HMA trail, site utilities, pavilion/restroom building, gas fire pit and site furnishings, fence relocation, elk viewing platform, and a playground. This Project is partially funded with a State of Michigan DNR Spark Grant and requires relevant state and federal requirements. PROJECT ESTIMATE: $1.00 Liquidated damages in the amount of $250 per day are contained in the Contract. 1-3 The Norway-Paris Solid Waste, Inc. reserves the right to adjust the quantities contained in the Bid Form as needed in order to stay within the project budget. Norway-Paris Solid Waste, Inc. reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any technical or legal deficiencies, and to accept any bid which is deemed to be in the best interest of Norway-Paris Solid Waste, Inc., not necessarily the lowest bid. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated C2AE site in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
