Site work for a water / sewer project in Coldbrook, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project is located between RG5 Pump Station and Eaves Hollow Park near the Harvest Moon Trail, including Klondyke Street and Chestnut Place, within the Municipality of the County of Kings, Nova Scotia. The Work generally involves the abandonment of an existing forcemain system and the supply and installation of a new forcemain system. The Work includes but is not necessarily limited to: the abandonment of existing ductile iron forcemain; supply and installation of new HDPE forcemains complete with pipe, thrust blocks, valves, testing, disinfection, commissioning, and CCTV inspection; supply and installation of a new air valve chamber complete with auxiliary piping, marker post, gaskets, valves, drains, insulation, grouting, miscellaneous metals, sealants, waterproofing, and other incidentals; temporary fencing; directional drilling under Mill Brook and under the dyke, reinstatement; as well as all work as shown on the Project Drawings and as specified within the tender package.
