The project consists of the replacement of existing underground steam distribution systems between buildings, complete with all associate piping connections inside buildings and groundwork as specified at the unit prices contained in the Form of the work is distributed at various locations. The locations for the work are at Various Developments in all boroughs NYC. This contract will be administered by NYCHA Heating Management Services Department, 24-02 49th Avenue, Long Island City, NY 11101, 718-707-5825. The Contractor must coordinate with Heating Management Services Department regarding the proper disposal of materials and clean-up of personnel and equipment. All Work required and executed under this Contract shall meet current industry standards and will be subject to the approval of the Authority. The Contractor shall provide all required and applicable means, methods, materials, tools and appurtenances, with all labor, supervision, licenses and permits required for the completion, delivery and performance of this Scope of Work within the outlined specifications. Questions by 5/10/2024 and Answers Released 5/17/2024 Bid Security in the amount of 5% of the "Contract Guaranteed Minimum" as stated in the contract documents is required at the time of submission of vendor's bid. P&P Bonds in the amount of 100% of guaranteed minimum will be required of the winning bidder during the award process. This Contract shall be subject to the New York City Housing Authority's Project Labor Agreement and, as part of its bid, the Bidder must submit at the time of bid submission: (1) a Letter of Assent to the Project Labor Agreement signed by the Bidder; and (2) a Letter of Assent signed by each of Bidder's proposed subcontractors. CONTRACT TERM: The Term of this contract shall be for a period of three (3) years with the option to extend, at NYCHA's sole discretion, for up to two (2) one-year renewals.
