Renovation of a detention facility in Columbia, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
The SCDJJ is seeking competitive bids to remove and install six (6) wood doors and four (4) metal doors in a juvenile correction facility. Locations and Specifications of Doors to be replaced: JOHN G. CAFETERIA Line item 1 - One Double Metal Door a) 6-0 x 6-8 14 gauge metal door. b) Install Astragal. c) Enclosure needed for non-fixed door. d) Install locking bars on fixed door. e) Panic bar on both with Night latch style handle. CIOC BUILDING Line item 2 Two Wood Doors. a) 3-0 x 6-8 nonrated wood door b) Both are set up for continuous type hinge and cylindrical prep. BIRCHWOOD CHAPEL Line item 3 One Metal Door a) 5-0 x 7-0 (3-0 x 2-0) 14-gauge metal door, 90 min rated. b) Install Astragal. c) Reuse Enclosures d) Install locking bar on 2.0 door. e) Install panic bar and night latch. Line item 4 - One Single Metal Door a. 4-0 x 7-0 14-gauge metal door, 90 min rated. b. Install closure. c. Install panic bar. Line item 5 One Single Wood Door a) 3-0 x 6-8 wood door, 90 min rated b) Set up for cylindrical prep. Line item 6 One Metal Double Door BW Chapel Entrance a) 6-0 x 7-0 steel 14gauge 90 min door b) Install panic bars with night latch, already has a center mullion. c) Reuse door closers. d) Install 5x35 light kit in both with Lexan. e) Install continuous hinges. Line item 7 Three Wood Doors BW Chapel a) 3-0 x 6-0 Commercial wood, non-rated/cylindrical prep
