Reference Number 0000268571 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/05/02 11:59:00 PM EDT The purpose of this project is to conduct a Feasibility Study on WTE and MWP in comparison to landfilling and then support the development of a business case to present recommendations to City Council for the processing of the City's residential residual waste. The Feasibility Study is to assess proven WTE (mass burn incineration) technologies and MWP (in conjunction with a WTE technology or stand alone with landfilling) as long-term solutions for residual waste. The City is not considering pilot technologies at this time (e.g., the focus will be on technologies which have attained full scale implementation within North America). The anticipated period of contract for professional services will be from the date of award to 30 June 2025.
