The Board of County Commissioners of Ziebach County will accept sealed bids to load and haul gravel from various pits and stockpiles to various roadway sites at the Highway Superintendents discretion in Ziebach County, SD until May 7,2025. All hauling as to time and place is to be coordinated by the Ziebach County Highway Superintendent and will be on an as needed basis. Seventy-two hours notice will be given prior to hauling. In the instance the successful bidder is not able to haul gravel as requested three times, the county will consider this a breach of contract for lack of performance. Any bidders requiring further information may contact said Superintendent at the Ziebach County Highway Shop at 365-5169. The Board reserves the right and privilege to investigate the type and quantity of equipment owned by all bidders to adequately perform their contract. Contractor will be required to produce certificate of liability insurance and certificate of workers compensation insurance (or Affidavit of Exempt Status). All bidders must be in compliance with Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO) provisions before bidding. Information can be obtained from TERO (605) 964-8376. The Board further reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive formalities in the best interest of Ziebach County.
