Renovation of an educational facility in Evansville, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following 1. The project consists of the Renovation of the Eagle Express C Store. The area is about 2,700 sf. The Work is indicated in the Contract Documents. B. Type of Contract: 1. The Project will be constructed under a single prime contract for all General, Mechanical and Electrical Construction. Bid bond in the amount of no less than five percent of total to accompany sealed bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds for one hundred percent (100%) of their correct amount prior to execution of the contract. Successful bidder must provide a certification of insurance naming the University of Southern Indiana as additional insured and Workers' Compensation prior to issuance of the contract. All bidders are to submit a certificate of insurance with their bid package. The University of Southern Indiana reserves the right to reject any proposal or all proposals, to make any combination thereof, and waive any informalities therein, and to return unopened any proposal received after the time fixed above. No bid may be withdrawn after the opening of bids for a period of sixty (60) days without the consent of the University of Southern Indiana.
