The project consists of the renovation of the Freedom Ridge Welcome Center. The scope of work will include repairing damage to areas of wood lap siding, painting the entire exterior of the building. Replacing miscellaneous rot damaged columns, constructing a screened-in porch and replacing some wood railing. The work in the interior will consist of replacing all the plumbing fixtures, installing new LED light fixtures, installing new casework in the break room area and installing a pass-thru window. The scope of work will also include providing and install several display shelves and display tables. Bid proposals are to be sealed in an envelope bearing the Bidder's identification on the exterior of the envelope, addressed to Jackson County Fiscal Court, 101 Main Street, McKee, Kentucky 40447, and bearing the words: "FREEDOM RIDGE WELCOME CENTER BID PROPOSAL". Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to the conditions of employment to be observed during the contract. WAGE SCALE DOES NOT APPLY. Minority bidders are encouraged to bid. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any information and/or technicalities where the best interest of the Owner can be served.
