This project is partially funded by the Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP). The Base Bid work for the above contract includes the asphalt overlay of Westside Rd from CTH B north for 3900 ft. The Base Bid work for the above contract includes: - Providing 2" Asphaltic Overlay Layer - Preparing and placing 3/4 " Aggregate Shouldering (2-ft shoulders) Major Items for the Base Bid work with approximate quantities for which bids are requested, include: 180 SY of Asphaltic Surface Removal, 1,350 TON of HMA Pavement, and 280 TON of 3/4 " Base Aggregate Dense for shouldering. Items also included in this project are preparing butt joints and Traffic Control. Mandatory Additional Bid #1 is the asphalt overlay of Deignan Rd from Spring Creek Rd to Thunderbird Rd. The Additional Bid #1 work for the above contract includes: - Providing 1 1/2 " Asphaltic Overlay Layer Major items for Additional Bid #1 work with approximate quantities for which bids are requested, include: 80 SY of Asphaltic Surface Removal and 350 TONS of HMA Pavement. Items also included in this project are preparing butt joints and Traffic Control. Mandatory Additional Bid #2 is the asphalt overlay of Spring Creek Rd starting between CTH H and Nippersink Creek going south for 2400 ft. The Additional Bid #2 work for the above contract includes: - Providing 2" Asphaltic Overlay Layer - Preparing and placing 3/4 " Aggregate Shouldering (2-ft shoulders) Major Items for Additional Bid #2 work with approximate quantities for which bids are requested, include: 60 SY of Asphaltic Surface Removal, 900 TON of HMA Pavement, and 175 TON of 3/4 " Base Aggregate Dense for shouldering. Items also included in this project are preparing butt joints and Traffic Control. The Town will only consider Bids from Bidders who accompany them with a Bid Bond, payable to the Town of Bloomfield, in the amount equal to 5 percent of the Bid. This requirement serves to guarantee that, if the Town accepts the Bid, the selected Contractor will execute and deliver the proper Contract Agreements and Bonds within 15 calendar days after the Notice of Award. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive or not waive any informality in the bids received and to accept any proposal, which they deem most favorable to the interests of the Owner.
