Question Cuttoff Date & Time 5/2/2024 02:00:00 PM (ET) Vendors bidding must be a Manufacturing Company of Telespar Posts. No 3rd party bidders. Approved Brands Telespar brand steel square perforated tubing and accessories have been preapproved by the Iowa DOT. Equivalent brands may be bid, but if not previously tested may be subject to testing by the Iowa DOT prior to the award. The department may require a sample to evaluate quality and/or compliance with proposal requirements. Additional Information If any additional information is required to properly evaluate the bid, the bidder shall furnish the requested information within three (3) working days after notification from the Purchasing Section. Contract Award One contract will be awarded for all items. All items are tied. All Lines must be bid to be eligible for award contract. Contract Dates June 15, 2024- June 14, 2025 Contract Period The successful bidder(s) will be awarded a one (1) year contract with an option to renew for five (5) additional years in twelve (12) month increments. Contract Quantities Estimated quantities are based on previous purchases. Actual quantities purchased throughout the contract period may vary considerably from estimates. Purchase Orders One purchase order for all quantities listed on the 11 lines on the schedule of prices will be ordered immediately once a contract is signed. Additional purchase orders may be issued for items throughout the contract period if there is a need. Separate Purchase Orders would then be sent. Price Adjustment Prices shall be held firm for the contract period. IADOT - Telespar Sign Tubing for FY25
