Pursuant to Executive Order 90-01(as amended 5-8-06), the City of Fort Wayne has established a 10% goal of the contract dollar amount on construction projects to Emerging Business Enterprises (EBE). The funding source for this project is WATER. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, insurance, equipment, materials and power for the complete performance of the following project, TRFP Main Entrance Tower Limestone Restoration - Phase 1 as follows: Renovations to the main tower of the Three Rivers Water Filtration Plant including masonry repairs, concrete turret cap repairs, roof replacement, and other miscellaneous repairs and improvements including all associated limestone, brick, sealants, drains, flashings and other appurtenances. all in accordance with the Bidding Documents as prepared by The City Utilities Engineering Department, City of Fort Wayne, Indiana. No Bid will be accepted from, or contract awarded to any person, firm, or corporation that is in arrears to the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana, upon any debt or contract, or, who has failed to execute, in whole or in part in a satisfactory manner, any contract with the City; or, who is a defaulter as to surety or otherwise, upon any obligation to the City, or is engaged in litigation with the City. No Bid may be withdrawn for at least 60 days after the scheduled time for receipt of Bids so as to allow review of Bids before announcing award of Contract. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond each in the amount no less than one hundred (100%) percent of the contract price. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids for failure to comply with applicable laws and/or with the Instructions to Bidders. The Board also reserves the right to waive any defect in any bid.
