Site work for a road / highway in Dubois, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The City of DuBois and Sandy Township will receive bids for the CITY OF DUBOIS AND SANDY TOWNSHIP GREEN LIGHT-GO TRAFFIC SIGNAL UPGRADES project at the following intersections: o Brady St./Liberty Blvd. (SR 0219) and Park Avenue (Part A) o Maple Ave. (SR 4014), Shaffer Rd. (SR 4017) and 14th St. (Part B). Two (2) separate certified checks or bank drafts payable to the order of (A) the City of DuBois and (B) Sandy Township, or two (2) satisfactory Bid Bonds executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid for each part shall be submitted with each bid to each respective municipality. All bids must be submitted on a lump sum basis. The City of DuBois and Sandy Township reserve the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and submit proof thereof with their bid. Bidder shall comply with all state and federal laws prohibiting discrimination in hiring or employment opportunities. Pennsylvania prevailing minimum wage rates will apply. Bids may be held by the City of DuBois and Sandy Township for a period not to exceed forty five (45) days from the date of opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders prior to awarding the Contract.
