Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Council will award contract at Jersey Shore Borough Municipal Building for the following contract: Paving Bid Contract: Perform approximately 5,934 SY of roadway surface milling; furnish and place approximately 712 tons of wearing course, 9.5 mm; perform approximately 20 tons of 25.0 mm base repairs Fiber Seal Coat Bid Contract: Furnish and place approximately 11,367 SY of asphalt Fiber Reinforced Seal Coat; furnish and place approximately 11,368 SY of asphalt fog seal and perform approximately 500+/- gal of roadway crack sealing. Performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract, as well as proof of worker's compensation insurance will be required from the lowest responsible bidder. All work and material must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its Supplements. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates shall be required for the paving bid contract only and are included with the paving contract.
