Site work for a multi-residential development in Temperance, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a multi-residential development.

Bond is required and may be submitted on the combined Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond form provided in the bid documents, executed by the bidder and by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Michigan and accepted by the U.S. Treasury. Bid bond shall be for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the sum of the base bid plus all add alternates. Contract bond shall be for an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the sum of the base bid plus all add alternates for the faithful performance of all work required by the contract documents and for payment for all labor, materials and other sums as required under the contract. Refer to Instructions to Bidders. Bidders will be required to provide evidence of experience with similar projects. Before submitting a proposal, the bidders may visit and inspect the site of the work. Minimum wage rates for this project have been predetermined as required by law and are set forth in the bid documents (HUD/Davis-Bacon and related Acts.) Bids are to be sealed and addressed to Bedford Township Housing Commission, 8745 Lewis Avenue, Temperance, Michigan 48182, and plainly marked on the outside "New Patio Fencesî. If bids are submitted by mail, place bid in a sealed envelope and identify as noted above and place sealed bid in a mailing envelope, addressed to the Bedford Housing Commission, with ìSealed Bid Enclosedî and ìNew Patio Fencesî indicated on the mailing envelope. DESCRIPTION OF WORK This project consists of all necessary labor, equipment, tools, and materials to construct new vinyl privacy fences. At the conclusion of this project the contractor is expected to return any disturbed earth and grasses back to pre-construction activities. TIME SCHEDULE The Contract Period is established ninety (90) days from signing of contract. LABOR REQUIREMENTS Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Contractor must comply with the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970. Contractor shall comply with all state and local requirements regarding employment of persons on this project.
