Renovation of a municipal facility in Steubenville, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

As of June 13, 2024 project was awarded to C&M Environment Co., awarded amount is $254,548.37. All Contractors doing business in Ohio must be licensed to perform work in the State; the Contractor's Ohio License Number must be affixed to all submitted construction bids and fully executed and binding construction contracts or agreements Each individual employed by the Contractor or a Sub-Contractor and engaged in work on the project under this Contract shall be paid the Prevailing Wage established by the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of Ohio and Davis Bacon. This shall occur regardless of any contractual relationship which may be said to exist between the Contractor or any Sub-Contractor and such individual. The Board of Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Ohio, reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive all informalities. Each individual employed by the Contractor or a Sub-Contractor and engaged in work on the project under this Contract shall be paid the Prevailing Wage established by the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of Ohio and Davis Bacon. This shall occur regardless of any contractual relationship which may be said to exist between the Contractor or any Sub-Contractor and such individual All bids must be accompanied by a BID GUARANTY in the form of (1) a Certified Check, or Revocable Letter of Credit pursuant to Chapter 1305, ORC, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of base bid plus all alternates; or (2) a Bid Bond drawn upon an acceptable Surety Company, for the full amount of the bid plus all alternates, one hundred percent (100%) of the bid, both forms of guaranty as provided in Chapter 153 of the Ohio Revised Code. The bid guaranty shall be made conditionally payable to the Board of Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Ohio. The bid guaranty shall be made unconditionally payable to the Board of Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Ohio. All bid guarantees shall be conditioned that if the bid is accepted within sixty (60) days of the bid opening, a proper contract shall be executed and that upon failure or refusal to enter into said contract within ten (10) days after receipt of notification of award the bidder and surety on any bond shall be liable to the County in an amount not to exceed ten percent (10%) of the bid. The successful bidder, upon receipt of the Notice of acceptance of the bid, must furnish a Performance Bond in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount, to the Board of Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, the State of Ohio, said Bonds to be unconditionally payable to the Board of Commissioners. All Bidding Document requests shall be submitted in writing and directed to the Architect via email to projects@mckinleydelivers.com. The undersigned, hereinafter called the Bidder, being familiar with and understanding the Bidding Documents and also having examined the site and being familiar with all local conditions affecting the Project, hereby proposes to provide all labor, material, equipment, supplies and transportation and to perform all Work in accordance with the Bidding Documents prepared by McKinley Architecture and Engineering, Inc. for the following Base Bid and Alternate Amount(s), and within the Time of Completion specified: August 1st, 2024
