Renovation of a transportation facility in Baltimore, Maryland. Working plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.

The Contractor shall furnish all the necessary supervision, labor, skilled technicians, supplies, tools, equipment, licenses, insurance, and expertise required to perform terrazzo repairs for Maryland Aviation Administration at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall (BWI Thurgood Marshall) Airport, Lower Level, Door 4 in front of Southwest Airlines. The Contractor shall be responsible for becoming acquainted with conditions relating to the scope of the work and restrictions pertaining to the execution of work under this scope of work. The contractor shall supply a mockup panel of materials used approved for color match by BMX Supervisor John Beever or BMX Assistant Manager Bob Ward before work can proceed. All areas must be properly barricaded during work and properly cleared of debris after the work is completed. The Contractor shall provide the appropriate barricades. Upon completion of daily work, all debris and waste material shall be cleaned up and removed from the site. Tools, containers, etc. shall never be left unattended. The contractor is responsible for the proper disposal of all removed material as a result of terrazzo repairs. Parking of work vehicles is the responsibility of the Contractor. Contractor may make a request of MTAP before parking on the outer vehicle roadway, or use the parking garage at their own expense. The Terrazzo repair work will be completed from 4:00 PM to 12:00 am in one continuous phase. Demo of existing de-bonded terrazzo flooring up to 440 SF 1 Color 3/8 thick Terrazzo Flooring to match existing up to 440 SF. Moisture Vapor Treatment under Terrazzo Flexible Epoxy Membrane at substrate cracks only totaling a maximum of 10% of total square footage of epoxy terrazzo. Epoxy Sand Fill if required is excluded. All work to be completed during off-hours (total area repair at one time) in one continuous phase, project completed by June 30, 2024.
