Site work for a municipal facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
The project contemplated consists primarily of excavation, transportation, and disposal of approximately 120,000 tons of non-hazardous PFAS impacted material from the project site in the City of Milwaukee to Ridgeview Landfill in Whitelaw, Wisconsin. The Owner has already contracted for the disposal of the PFAS material with the landfill, and Owner will pay the tipping fees. The project also includes excavation, transportation, and local disposal of approximately 11,100 tons of non-PFAS impacted material, for which Contractor will pay the tipping fees. Finally, the project will require ancillary work including fencing installation and removal, grading, seeding, and site stabilization. Soils onsite contaminated with hazardous waste are to be left undisturbed. All questions related to this proposed contract, pre-bid presentation, site tour, or interested bidders list must be directed in writing to Nathan Churchill, nchurchill@mmsd.com, no later than 4 days before the bid opening date. Questions received after this deadline or directed to other contacts at the District will not be recognized
