Site work for a water / sewer project in Palos Heights, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Install new 12" D.I.P watermain under the North bound lane of Cypress Ln with associated valves and hydrants, and transfer services from the old watermain to be abandoned. 8" watermain to be extended through Sequoia Rd ROW to create a loop. 1. Proposal is for installing new 12" D.I.P watermain under the North bound lane of Cypress Ln with associated valves and hydrants, and transfer services from the old watermain to be abandoned up to Sequoia Rd and reduce to 8" D.I.P watermain North of the T continue going in and around the cul-de-sac, continue South and turn West through Sequoia Rd ROW to connect to 6" main on 78th Ct. Work will include combination curb & gutter removal and replacements as well as resurfacing of the Cypress Ln. 2. The undersigned agrees to complete the work within 30 working days. The contractor is to state expected start date, assuming one month for award. 3. A proposal guaranty will be required. Bid Bonds will be allowed as proposal guaranties. Accompanying this proposal is either a bid bond or a proposal guaranty check, complying with the specifications, made payable to: City Treasurer of the City of Palos Heights the amount of the check is 10% Bid Bond. 4. If this proposal is accepted and the undersigned fails to execute a contract and contract bond as required, it is hereby agreed that the Bid Bond or check shall be forfeited to the Awarding Authority.
