Demolition and site work for a parking garage in Granger, Indiana. Completed plans call for the demolition of a parking garage; and for site work for a parking garage.

The Scope Of Work Consists Of Asbestos Abatement, Utility Abandonment, Demolition Of Onsite Structures, Removal Of On-site Pavement And Other Site Improvements, Disposal Of Demolition Debris, Removal Of Two Underground Storage Tanks, Removal, Transport, And Disposition Of Chloride Impacted Soil, Backfill, Compaction, And Site Restoration Of The Project Site. All Work For This Project Will Be Under A Single Prime Contract With The Owner. The Bidder Must Show Or Be Able To Demonstrate To The Satisfaction Of The St. Joseph County Board Of Commissioners That The Bidder Possesses The Ability And Capacity To Successfully Complete The Project Through The Satisfactory Past Performance Of Work Of A Similar Nature, Size, And Scope. The Bidder Must Have Satisfactorily Completed As A Prime Or General Contractor, A Minimum Of Three (3) Contracts Of Similar Size, Type (Including Demolition And Underground Storage Tank Removal), And Complexity To The Subject Contract Within The Past Five (5) Years. The Combined Contract Value Of The Demolition Work On Each Project Shall Exceed $200,000.00. The Work Must Have Been Completed Skillfully, In A Satisfactory Manner, And On Time Bids Shall Be Properly And Completely Executed On The Bid Form Provided And Accompanied By A Non-collusion Affidavit, Form 96 Of The State Board Of Accounts, Financial Statement, Bid Bond Or Certified Check, Each For A Value Of Not Less Than Ten Percent (10%) Of The Bidder's Total Bid Amount. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required To Furnish Contract Performance And Payment Bonds For 100% Of Their Contract Amount Prior To Execution Of Contracts. Bonds Shall Be Maintained In Accordance With Ic 36-1-12-13.1 And 36-1-12-14. Bonds Shall Be In Full Force And Effect For A Period Of At Least 12 Months After The Date Of Final Completion Of The Contract. St. Joseph County Reserves The Right To Reject Any And All Bids Or Parts Thereof, Waive All Informalities Or Irregularities In Bid. Any Bid May Be Withdrawn Prior To The Above Scheduled Time For The Opening Of Bids Or Authorized Postponement Thereof. Last day to Request an Interpreation/Clarification May 16, 2024
