Work must not begin before July 1, 2024. The City of Adrian reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities. All bids must be firm for not less than 45 days after official opening of bids. Remove existing flooring, supply and install new flooring in the public walkway of the first and third floors. New first floor flooring shall be 2,745 square feet of 18"x 18" tile, Mannington Rushmore/Cliffside FX T391 with 12x24 Mannington Dyne/ Sand FX R480 border or equivalent.
New third floor flooring of "18 x 18" tile, Mannington Rushmore/Cliffside FX T391 as well as J&J Mesa 7500 color 3476 desert 0r 3474 canyon, 24"x 24" carpet tile, and J&J Broadloom Valley 6501 color desert 3476 or 3474 Canyon 24" x 24" or equivalent for the stairwell. The City must approve any color or layout variation that deviates from the specifications. 1. Remove and dispose of existing flooring and base.
2. Skim coat floor prep over old adhesive.
3. Supply and install floor covering as follows:
a. Material
b. Adhesive
c. 4' vinyl cove base
4. Contractor must supply all necessary tools, materials and equipment to complete job in a professional manner.
5. The proper adhesive must be used for existing sub flooring.
6. If required, hazardous material abatement will be the responsibility of Contractor.
7. Contractor is responsible for disposing of any debris from the work site on a daily basis.
8. Contractor must supply 5% extra flooring for any future repairs and areas that may need to be replaced.
9. The work site will be available Monday through Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm.
10. Contractors will be responsible for completing the Professional Services Contract and supply insurance and bonds as required if awarded the bid.
