The City of Salt Lick is applying for federal funding for the Planning Related Activities for Flooding Project. The project will include surveying and engineering services to complete a Hydrologic and Hydraulic Study for the City of Salt Lick. The project will also include planning activities and reports for potential projects for the City's flood mitigation strategy. All firms interested in being considered for this project must submit a proposal detailing qualifications, technical expertise, management and staff capabilities, and prior experience related to conducting a Planning Related Activities targeting flooding hazards that will contribute to the risk assessment and mitigation strategy of the Gateway Area Development District multijurisdictional, multi-hazard mitigation plan. The objective of the competitive process is to objectively select the firm that will provide the highest quality of service. Selected respondents may be interviewed and the firm(s) judged most qualified will be asked to prepare a final proposal which would include fees for said services. City of Salt Lick reserves the right to reject any and all responses, to waive any technicalities, and to negotiate with the respondent who most nearly meets the project requirements.
