Site work and paving for a road / highway in Jackson, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Paving, Chip & Seal & Micro Sealing. Madison Township Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids. A. Compaction with SC HIGH Q at minimum of 2 inches B. Some Roads will need spot leveling before the CCAP is applied C. Clearing and sweeping to be included in price D. Traffic control will be included with unit cost E. The aggregate used shall be ODOT certified 100% Limestone - 80% #8 Limestone and 20% #9 Limestone meeting 422 spec F. Bituminous asphalt shall be a minimum of 6.5% G. Asphalt shall meet ODOT specifications H. When so requested by the Trustee, the Contractor shall submit samples of bituminous materials and aggregates he proposes to use. Such samples may be required for testing by the Contractor as directed by the Trustee. I. #9 Limestone or #8 Limestone shall be used to choke down on all cold mix at a rate of 15 pounds per square yard J. Rolling shall be done immediately after mix is placed and compacted per ODOT specifications for cold mix paving K. Secondary roller shall be done with a pneumatic roller after choke down has been placed meeting ODOT specifications for rolling 405.13 L. Rollers must conform to ODOT specification 401.13 M. Township has the right to increase or decrease materials on road N. Some roads may be spot leveling O. Contractor must be qualified with ODOT and submit with bid for work type 11. P. Must have 5 years' experience in this field
