Site work and paving for a playground / park / athletic field in Orange, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.

The project is generally described as replacement of six existing tennis courts and construction of a seventh court for pickleball and/or tennis adjacent to two of the existing courts. Contractors are welcome to bid on any and all line items, although complete proposals will be given priority to the extent possible. BASE BID: REPLACE SIX EXISTING TENNIS COURTS (2 @ 110'x120, 4 @ 230'x120') 1. Mill the existing tennis court pavement down to 3" depth; grade and compact existing stone base; and install new 3" SM-9.5 asphalt paving. 2. Install tennis court surfacing (two coats resurfacer, two coats color) and line painting. 3. Remove and install 6 sets of tennis court posts, nets, and anchors. 4. Remove all existing fencing; install 1280' of 10' high, black vinyl coated, chain link fencing and gates; clean up site.. ADD ALTERNATE: NEW COURT 120'x60' FOR 1 TENNIS AND/OR 4 PICKLEBALL COURTS 5. Grade site; place and compact 6" of 21-A stone base; and install new 3" SM-9.5 asphalt paving. 6. Install desired court surfacing (two coats resurfacer, two coats color) and line painting. 7. Install 6 sets of tennis court posts, nets, and anchors. 8. Install 340' of 10' high, black vinyl coated, chain link fencing and gates; clean up site. Existing courts are located behind Orange County High School at 201 Selma Road, Orange, Virginia 22960.
