The City of Lancaster, is seeking proposals for the installation of two electronic marquees to enhance communication and visibility for our facilities. These marquees will serve as dynamic communication tools, providing important information, announcements, and promotional messages to our community and visitors. The City of Lancaster reserves the right to reject any and all bids, in whole or in part, to waive any informality in any bid, and to accept any bid, which, in its discretion, is in the best interest of the City of Lancaster. Purpose: The primary purpose of installing these electronic marqueesisto improve communication effectiveness and engage with our audience in real-time. By leveraging modern technology, we aim to provide timely and relevant information to our stakeholders, including residents, visitors, staff, and the broader community. Locations: The electronic marquees will replace the two existing marquees on Dallas Avenue at Veterans Memorial Parkway and on Pleasant Run Road between Glendover and Houston School Road. A possible new third marquee on Houston School Road between Wintergreen Road and South Pointe Drive (just after you pass QT). These locations are three major corridors for entering the City of Lancaster. Features and Functionality: The electronic marquees should have the following features and functionality: 1. High-resolution LED displays capable of displaying vibrant colors and clear images. 2. Weatherproof and durable construction suitable for outdoor installation. 3. Remote content management system for easy scheduling and updating of messages. 4. Integration capabilities with existing software or systems for seamless operation. 5. Automatic brightness adjustment for optimal visibility in varying lighting conditions. 6. Energy-efficient design to minimize power consumption and operational costs. 7. Warranty and support services to ensure reliable performance and longevity.
