Professional Design Services for Downtown Improvements This project consists of design services for various improvements at the City of Leesburg Downtown area. Full details are available in the Solicitation package. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Scope ofInsurance - The Contractorshall procure andmaintain atits own expense,the following minimuminsurance coverage, unless otherwise specified in the agreement, contract orlease. Allrequired insurance shall be provided by insurers acceptable to the City with an A.M. Best rating of atleast A: VII. The Contractorshallrequire, and shall be responsible for assuring that any and all ofits subcontractorssecure andmaintain such insurance that are required by law to be provided on behalf oftheir employees and others untilthe completion ofthatsub-contractors work. The required insurance shall be secured andmaintained for notlessthan the limitsrequired by the City, or asrequired by law, whicheveris greater. The required insurance shall notlimitthe liability ofthe Contractor. The City does notrepresent these coverages or amountsto be adequate orsufficientto protectthe Contractor'sinterests or liabilities, but aremerely requiredminimums. The provisions ofthe required insurance are subjectto the approval ofthe City's Risk Manager, and upon request,the Contractorshallmake available certified copies ofthe various policiesfor inspection. All liability insurance, except professional liability,shall be written on an occurrence basis. The Contractor waivesitsright ofrecovery againstthe City to the extent permitted by its insurance policies.
