Masonry Restoration Wantagh Middle School All Bidders Shall Meet At The Main Entrance Of The Schools. Prospective Bidders Are Strongly Encouraged To Attend. The District Reserves The Right To Award A Contract To The Lowest Responsible Bidder Or The Proposals Will Be Rejected Within Forty-five (45) Days Of The Date Of Opening Proposals. Bids Shall Be Subject, However, To The Discretionary Right Reserved By The School District To Waive Any Informalities In, Accept Or Reject Any Alternatives, Reject Any Proposals And To Advertise For New Proposals, If In Its Opinion The Best Interest Of The School District Will Thereby Be Promoted. Each Bidder May Not Withdraw His Bid Within 45 Days After The Formal Opening Thereof. A Bidder May Withdraw His Bid Only In Writing And Prior To The Bid Opening Date. No interpretations of the meaning of the plans, specifications or other contract documents will be made to any bidder orally. All questions must be submitted in writing and received no later than 3:00 pm May 10, 2024. Every question for such interpretations shall be in writing, addressed to MARK DESIGN STUDIOS ARCHITECTURE PC, 270 North Broadway, Hicksville, NY 11801. Email RFIs to both Michael@markdesignstudios.com & Elly@markdesignstudios.com **Document Notes: Optionally, In Lieu Of Digital Copies, Hard Copies May Be Obtained Directly From Rev Upon A Deposit Of One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars For Each Complete Set. Checks For Deposits Shall Be Made Payable To Wantagh Union Free School District And May Be Uncertified. Any Bidder Requiring Documents To Be Shipped Shall Make Arrangements With The Printer And Pay For All Packaging And Shipping Costs. Please Note That Only Those Bidding Documents Obtained In The Manner Stated Above Will Enable A Prospective Bidder To Be Identified As An Official Plan Holder Of Record And Eligible To Submit A Bid. All Bid Addenda Will Be Transmitted To Registered Plan Holders Via Email And Will Be Available At The Above Referenced Website. Plan Holders Who Have Obtained Hard Copies Of The Bid Documents Will Need To Make The Determination If Hard Copies Of The Addenda Are Required For Their Use And Coordinate Directly With The Printer For Hard Copies Of Addenda To Be Issued. There Will Be No Charge For Registered Plan Holders To Obtain Hard Copies Of The Bid Addenda. Bidder's Deposit Will Be Refunded If The Set Is Returned To Rev In Good Condition Within Thirty (30) Days Following The Award Of The Contract Or The Rejection Of The Bids Covered By Such Drawings And Specifications. Substantial Completion for all MASONRY RESTORATION contracts must be reached no later than August 16, 2024. Failure to do so will subject the Contractor to liquidated damages as set forth in the General Conditions. Final Completion for all MASONRY RESTORATION contracts must be reached no later than August 30, 2024 Non-bidders Shall Receive Partial Reimbursement, In An Amount Equal To The Amount Of The Deposit, Less The Actual Cost Of Reproduction Of Plans And Specifications.
