As of June 18, 2024 project was awarded to Viking Construction, awarded amount is $389,490.98. Major Items of Work Include Approximately: 91,000 square yards of microsealing of different streets in Woodway, Texas. Bids must be submitted on the bid forms provided and must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the penal sum approximately equal to and not less than five percent (5%) ofthe amount ofthe base bid, payable without recourse to the Owner. The Security may be in the form of a certified cashier's check or a bidder's bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company approved to do business in the State of Texas as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute a 100 percent performance bond and a 100 percent payment bond and guaranty forms provided within ten (10) days after notice of award of contract to him. Bids not accompanied by a cashier's check or proposal bond will not be considered. The City of Woodway reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities.
