Award amount is $229,063.94** Meadows at Montville Condominium Complex: Phase II Road Resurfacing This project entails the milling, resurfacing and restriping of Franklin Court, Freedom Court, Hancock Court, and Madison Court located in the Meadows at Montville Condominium Complex. Additional work shall include curb repairs, drainage inlet retrofitting, and ADA compliant curb ramp construction. Bid Security: Bid Security is Required and Each Proposal Must Be Accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond in an Amount Equal to Ten Percent (10%) of the Total Bid, but in No Case in Excess of $20,000.00 Payable to the Township and Drawn Upon a National or State Bank or Trust Company, as a Guarantee for the Good Faith of the Bidder and for the Proper Execution of the Contract and Filing of the Necessary Bond as Hereinafter Provided. If the Bidder to Whom the Contract is Awarded Shall Execute the Contract and Furnish a Bond in the Sum and Form Specified Herein, Within the Time Hereinafter Stated, His Certified Check or Bid Bond Shall Be Returned to Him Upon the Approval of the Bond and Execution of the Contract by the Township. Consent of Surety: Certificate From a Surety Company is Required Indicating Consent to Be Bound as Surety and Guarantor for Performance Required Under the Contract Documents. Project Completion: the Bidder Agrees to Complete the Entire Work for This Contract Within Ninety (90) Calendar Days From the Date Specified in the Notice-to-proceed. Contractor Registration: Bidders are required to be registered by the New Jersey Department of Labor at the time bids will be received by the Project Owner pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act (P.L. 2003, c. 91, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.51). Effective September 1, 2004, Bidders are also required to be registered by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue at the time bids will be received by the Project owner pursuant to the Business Registration Act (P.L.2004, c.57, N.J.S.A.52:32-44). Rejection of Bids: the Township of Montville Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids, or to Waive Any Bid Defect Where Such Defect is Not Detrimental to the Best Interest of Township of Montville and Fairness of the Bidding Process.
