Work under this Contract generally includes the supply of all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the Water Filtration Plant Upgrade project including: .1 Demolition and Removal of existing equipment. .2 Supply, installation, and commissioning of new water filtration equipment. .3 Supply, installation, and commissioning of UV disinfection equipment. .4 Process piping and instrumentation. .5 Electrical and Controls and programming of the new filter control panel. .6 All related work. A bid security in the amount of 10% of the total bid (including HST) minimum made payable to the Village of Fundy Albert must accompany each bid. The successful Bidder will be required to provide, in conformance with the Construction Remedies Act, a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of fifty (50) percent of the value of the Contract, or a ten (10) percent Certified Cheque upon award of contract. SUMMARY OF WORK .1 Work under this Contract includes the supply of all labor, supervision, materials and equipment necessary for the construction of control panel(s) and a SCADA workstation as specified in these technical specifications and in the drawings. 2 Contractor to install panels and supply all associated field wiring for all Contractor-supplied and existing control panels. Field wiring to include all necessary wiring, junction boxes, conduit and fastening systems required for a complete and working system. .3 Control system will include networking of all new and existing control panels, touchscreens, SCADA workstation and related process equipment as detailed in the drawings.
